RISE — Rowan Information Shara Encoding

Smaller. Still Editable.
Still Exact.

Compression used to mean archiving — pack it, shelve it, hope you never need it. RISE reduces the data you are still working in. Open a file through a Transparent or Live folder, change it, save it; it stays reduced the whole time. And every byte comes back exactly. RISE would rather tell you it can't than give you something subtly wrong.

Eight kinds of data — LOG · TXT · CSV · SQL · XLSX · JSON · JSONL · RTF — reduced where they already sit. Everything else passes straight through: untouched, uncounted, unbilled.

You only pay for space we actually reduce.
A monthly licence, plus a metered usage charge of {{ rateLabel }} on what we reduce. Nothing else moves your bill. Here's exactly what that means:

FOUR WAYS TO RUN IT
{{ t.name }}
{{ t.tag }}

+ {{ t.rate }} reduced · {{ t.covers }}

All eight supported file types are included on every plan — LOG · TXT · CSV · SQL · XLSX · JSON · JSONL · RTF. The rate is the same on every plan; the licence is what changes. No per-seat, per-server, per-agent or per-socket fee.
WORK WITH COMPRESSED DATA LIKE IT ISN'T
Smaller on disk — and still fully usable
Most compression makes you unpack before you can use anything. RISE doesn't — the reduced data stays live, transparent, and editable right where it sits.

HOW IT WORKS

Reduction that runs where your data lives

No uploads. No agent shipping your files anywhere. RISE shrinks data in place and reports only counts — and restore is never gated: that is RISE Reduce's standing rule on every plan.

CALCULATOR

Work out where the line falls

Put in what RISE reduces and what a gigabyte-month actually costs you. It returns what you avoid, what RISE bills, and the point where it stops being worth it — including when that answer is no.

PRICING

A licence, plus a metered rate on what we reduce

The rate card is the same on every plan — {{ rateLabel }}. The licence, how many domains it covers, and how much usage it covers are what change.

{{ rateProfileNote }}

{{ hqBillingNote }}

That rate card covers more than disk. Compressed data also moves cheaper, backs up faster and replicates smaller, and we don't meter those separately.

Term discounts apply to the licence only, never the usage charge: {{ termDiscNote }}. {{ termDiscScope }}
If you cancel a term early

A longer term lowers the licence fee, and only the licence fee. You earn that discount by finishing the term. Leave early and we charge you for the months you used plus {{ ccAddedStr }} more, at the rate for the term you actually completed — so under 6 months is charged at the monthly rate, 6 to 11 months at the 6-month rate, 12 to 23 months at the 12-month rate.

Leaving never costs more than staying. The exit charge is capped at the full term at the rate you signed for, so cancelling can never come to more than simply seeing the term out. And your usage is never clawed back — the usage charge on what we reduce is consumed, billed monthly and settled, and no discount ever applied to it. Months you prepaid but did not use are still credited back. The exit amount arrives as a draft invoice we review, not an automatic charge.

The worked example, because it is the harshest one: {{ ccTierName }} on {{ ccTermLabel }} is {{ ccCommittedStr }} a month. Cancel after {{ ccMonthsStr }} and you have earned no term at all, so those months are charged at {{ ccEarnedRateStr }} — for {{ ccMonthsStr }} used plus {{ ccAddedStr }}, that is {{ ccChargeableStr }}, or {{ ccOwedStr }} in licence fees. The same {{ ccMonthsStr }} billed monthly from the start would have been {{ ccMonthlyAltStr }}. You have already paid {{ ccAlreadyPaidStr }} of it, so the final invoice carries {{ ccExitStr }}. Nothing above {{ ccCapStr }} is ever owed on that term, whenever you leave.

If RISE is at fault — a restore that is not byte-exact, or the software unusable for a sustained period through our fault — there is no exit charge at all and your unused months are refunded automatically. the binding wording of that test, and the number of consecutive days that meets it, are set in the Terms of Service; this paragraph is the plain-English summary and is not itself the contract.

Every plan includes all four capabilities. Plans differ by how much we cover and how you deploy — we don't hold features back from smaller customers.
{{ weName }}, worked through
{{ weBase }} licence, {{ weDeploy }}, and usage charges covered to {{ weCapUsd }} a month — {{ weTotalAtCap }} all in at the cover. Past it nothing stops: the excess is still reduced, still metered, and billed at {{ weOverMult }}× the band rate.
That cover is about {{ weCapGb }} gigabyte-months ({{ weCapTb }}) a month — one rate card for every customer, so that is the figure, not a figure for some profile you might be assessed into. One terabyte is 1,024 gigabytes.
{{ weBase }} licence, {{ weDeploy }}, + {{ rateLabel }} reduced, on whatever RISE actually reduced that month — no cap on usage, and nothing else on the invoice.
{{ rateProfileNote }} No seats, no agents, no per-machine charge. One terabyte is 1,024 gigabytes.
No seats. No agents. No sockets.
No per-seat fee. No per-server fee. No agent count, no socket count, no instance licensing. Install RISE on as many machines as you want. You pay the metered usage charge on what we reduce, and nothing else moves your bill.
Where the line falls

RISE pays off if what you avoid is more than the usage charge on the same gigabyte-months — counting every copy you keep and every time the data moves, not just one copy sitting on one disk.

Most estates keep three: production, a replica, and a backup. Reduction shrinks what you hold on all of them — and, because you then move fewer bytes, everything that carries the data between them shrinks with it.

Below that line our fee is larger than the saving, and no amount of data fixes it. If that's where you are, we'll say so rather than sell you a licence.

There is an upper line too, and we would rather you found it here. Band rates rise with volume, so past a certain size each further gigabyte-month can cost more than it saves you. The calculator returns both ends of that window from your own numbers. If you expect to grow through the top of it, tell us before you sign and we will price the whole estate rather than sell you a plan you outgrow.

All eight formats included
LOG · TXT · CSV · SQL · XLSX · JSON · JSONL · RTF — on every plan, no upcharge. Everything else passes through untouched: not counted, not billed.
Training on your own format
One-time and permanent: {{ trainLabel }}. Sold self-serve, per type — start with the types you need and add more any time; the cumulative price is the same in any order.
API add-on
{{ apiLabel }} as a line item on the same bill — never a separate charge.
What we don't do
Photos, video, archives, encrypted files — RISE does nothing to those. They aren't counted toward your total and they aren't billed. A large estate often holds a much smaller amount of data we can act on, and that smaller number is the one that matters.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
1
You send the draft. Tell us the size and shape of what you're storing if you know it — it only changes which plan we'd point you at.
2
We reply with the licence terms and an invoice at the prices shown on this site. The rate card here is the one you'd be billed on — there is no other number.
3
Once that's settled we issue your licence and the download link. Restore is never gated — that is RISE Reduce's standing rule, on every plan and in every licence state.

Nothing on this page takes a payment or asks for card details. If you'd rather look first, the download is a request-a-link away and costs nothing.
